Day 1 Start your journey with a Druk Air flight to Paro, Bhutan

Welcome to Bhutan. An hour and a half drive to Thimphu the Capital of Bhutan


Day 02 Thimphu- Touring in and around Thimphu


DAY 3 Thimphu - Punakha - a three hours drive across the Dochu La Pass


DAY 4 Punakha - Paro- 4 hours drive back across the Dochu La Pass to the beautiful Paro Valley.


DAY 05 Paro Valley - See the Tiger's Nest Monastery and the Old Fort in the Morning. Afternoon tour the Paro Museum and Paro Dzong.


DAY 6 Paro - Excursion to HA Valley


Day 07 Paro - Delhi - Chennai - fly to Chennai via Delhi.

Arrive Chennai.(formerly known as Madras)


Day 08 Chennai- Touring Chennai City, Museums, Temples and Mahabalipuram.


Day 09 Excursion to the French influenced town of Pondicherry - hour and a half drive each way along the coast. See the Aurobindo Ashram, a new
experiment in community living.


Day 10 - Chennai - Trichy - Tanjore- Fly to Trichy in the morning. Visit the large Srirangam Temple then continue to Tanjore (1 hour and a half drive)


Day 11 - Tanjore (also known as Thanjavur) visit the Brihadeswara Temple, Tanjore Palace and other attractions.


Day 11 Tanjavur- Chettinad - Madurai. Interesting drive through the Tamil Nadu countryside to Chettinad. See few mansions and enjoy lunch at the BANGALA. After lunch continue drive to Madurai. Evening an opportunity to witness the prayer ceremony at the Meenakshi Temple. Visit the unusual tribal temple of the Ayaar - horse shrine.


Day 12 Madurai- Tour of the Meenakshi Temple and the Madurai Palace, also walk in the bazaars, fruit and flower market.


Day 13 Madurai- Periyar- Drive two hours through the tropical country side to the base of the hills then drive an hour up to Periyar in Kerala. Afternoon visit a spice garden to see cardamom, cloves, turmeric, cumin, cashew, cinnamon, coffee. chocolate and other plantations.


Day 14 Periyar - Kumarakom (Backwaters) drive through lovely tea eastates, rubber plantations, cashew, coconut, coffee plantations etc to the beautiful backwaters of Kerala. Check-n to your HOUSEBOAT.


Day 15 Houseboat - Kumarakom Lake Resort- Disembark and check in at the Kumarakom Lake Resort for the rest of the day at leisure.


Day 16 - Kumarakom - Cochin. We leave the backwaters today for a short one and a half hour drive to Cochin, the spice trade center of Kerala.


Day 17 Cochin - Tour of the Jewish Town and Cochin Fort area, see the Chinese Fishing nets. Enjoy performance of Kathakali dance drama and see the art of Kung-fu in Kerala style.


Day 17 Leave Cochin for homebound flights.
