Day 1-2, THIMPU - (D) Arrive Paro and drive to Thimpu. Visit the Tashichhodzong (fortress temple), National library, painting school and the mask maker’s workshop. Later, visit the Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Zoo, Folk Arts Heritage Museum, Handicraft Emporium, Memorial Chorten and the Textile Museum.


Day 3, PUNAKHA - (B, L, D) Drive to Punakha and tour Punakha Dzong.


Day 4-5- 6, PARO - (B, L) Drive to Paro. Visit the Paro Dzong, Drukgyel Dzong, Ta Dzong National Museum and hike up to the viewpoint of Taktsang monastery. Excursion to Haa valley and visit a typical Bhutanese Farmhouse.


Day 7-8-9, KATHMANDU (B) Fly to Kathmandu, Nepal. Tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan and Bhadgaon.


Day 10-11-12-13 (B, L) LHASA - Fly to Lhasa, Tibet. Visit Potala Palace, Norbulingka, former summer palace of the Dalai Lamas, Drepung monastery, Sera monastery, Ganden monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street market. Fly to Kathmandu and connect to home bound flights.
