14 Days Myths & Legends of The Himalayas

The Himalayas stretch approximately 1800 miles from Afghanistan to Myanmar (Burma). Bhutan's jealously guarded isolation and stunning mountain scenery combined with an ancient culture and colorful friendly people makes it a wonderful destination. Transit through Kathmandu, Nepal before flying on one of the most scenic flights in the world over the Himalayas and Mt. Everest to Lhasa, Tibet. The Tibetan plateau, is high, desolate with pristine beauty and ruggedness. Dominated by an intensely blue sky, people here live in a timeless setting. We will sample Tibet's spiritual traditions in its temples and monasteries. Tour extension available to Gyantse/Xigatse or drive from Lhasa to Kathmandu through the Himalayas with a stop at the Mt. Everest base camp, a once in a lifetime experience!
