A short flight away is the valley of Pokhara with a backdrop of 23 to 25 thousand feet high Annapurna Ranges and at the foothills is the famous Chitwan National Park, the home of the single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and the Bengal tiger.Bhutan is a land of soaring snowcapped peaks, alpine meadows, waterfalls, gushing streams and densely forested hills and ravines abounding in exotic flora and fauna. Day 1 ARRIVE KATHMANDU
Arrive into Kathmandu, capital city of the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal.
 Day 2 KATHMANDU (B)
Tour of Kathmandu city visiting the Pashupatinath temple, Kathmandu Durbar square, Jagannath temple, Kumari Devi's residence, Swyambhunath stupa, Tibetan Handicraft center and the ancient town of Patan. |
Day 3 KATHMANDU - CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Today we will fly to Royal Chitwan National Park. Activities at the Jungle Lodge include wildlife viewing from elephant back safari, nature walk, jungle trek, bird watching, land rover drive, elephant orientation and canoe ride etc.
Day 4 CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (BLD)

Morning and afternoon jungle activities.
Day 5 CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK - POKHARA (B)
Today we drive to the scenic Pokhara valley. Tour of the Pokhara valley and a short boat ride on Lake Phewa.
Day 6 POKHARA - KATHMANDU - HOMEBOUND (B)
Fly to Kathmandu and connect your homebound flight. |
