Day 1 ARRIVE PARO - THIMPU, Bhutan (D)
Arrive Paro airport at (7800ft), a beautiful terraced valley, home to many of Bhutan's oldest temples and its first airport. Begin our scenic drive towards Thimpu (8192ft). An orientation drive in the city and visit the Memorial Chorten.

Day 2
THIMPU (BLD)
Tour of Thimpu includes Tashichhodzong, National Library, Handicraft center, Nunnery, Takin Zoo, Folk Heritage and Textile museum. This evening enjoy traditional Bhutanese Dinner.
Day 3 THIMPU - PUNAKHA- WANGDI (BLD)
Drive to Wangdi (7500ft) across the Dochu La pass (10000ft) visit en route Punakha Dzong.

Day 4 WANGDI - TRONGSA- BUMTHANG (BLD)
Drive to Bumthang (9200ft), the religious and cultural heartland of the nation visiting en route Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong watchtower. |

Day 5 BUMTHANG (BLD)
Tour of the Bumthang valley includes visit to Tamshing Lhakhang, Jakar Dzong, Kurjey Lhakhang and the Jambay Lhakhang.

Day 6 BUMTHANG (BLD)
Tour of the Bumthang valley visiting the Bumthang Swiss farm and the Member Tso "the
flaming Lake" which is considered one of the most important pilgrimage spots.
Day 7 BUMTHANG - WANGDI (BLD)
Today we drive to Wangdi. Later tour the Wangdiphodrang Dzong.
Day 8 WANGDI - PARO (BLD)
Today we drive back to Paro. Tour of Paro Dzong and Ta Dzong National museum.

Day 9 PARO (BLD)
Drive to the foot hills of the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) and from here hike up to the viewpoint of the monastery. Later visit the Drukgyel Dzong and a Bhutanese farmhouse.
Day 10 PARO (BLD)
Excursion to Haa via Chele-la pass (13000ft), with scenic views of Mount Chomolhari and Jichu Drakey. Visit the Lhakhang Karpo & Nagpo. |
