THE GOLDEN CHARIOT – South India 8 Days & 7 Nights

Named after the famous Stone Chariot in Hampi this train travels through Mysore, visiting Srirangapatnam, Mysore Palace; the Nagarhole National Park (Kabini) and continuing to the historical sites of Sravanabelagola, Belur- Halebid, Hampi and thereafter entering into the triangular heritage site of Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole, and finally the golden beaches of Goa.

The interiors of the train are reminiscent of the Mysore Maharajas with intricate carvings on the ceilings, wall panels and furniture inspired by Mysore and Hoysala architecture. The train offers two restaurants, a Lounge Bar, gymnasium and spa amongst various other facilities.

Tour prices include: 7 night accommodations, three meals daily, sightseeing tours in Deluxe buses, entrance fees to monuments and palaces, cultural entertainment programs and service tax 2.58%. Not included are International or domestic air, pre and post tour accommodation, liquor, laundry and other items of personal nature.

Maharaja Express Tour prices include: Accommodation in double/twin bedded cabins with en suite bathrooms, all meals, soft beverages, house brands of Indian wines, beer and spirits, butler service, guided off train excursions as illustrated in the journeys inclusive of entrance fees, still camera fee, transport and services of a guide, complimentary tea, coffee and mineral water on board, porterage at stations, city tour and lunch/dinner at the city of disembarkation and service tax 2.58%. Not included are any taxes, insurance, gratuities, telephone calls, laundry, alcoholic beverages (apart from the house brands of wines, spirits, beer served in the restaurants and bar), video, film and professional still camera fees and arrival and departure transfers. International and domestic air tickets, pre and post tour accommodation and any tour extensions are not included unless specifically mentioned as part of the journeys.

Deposit Policy:
• 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking • Remaining 50% of ticket value 70 days prior to departure
Cancellation Policy:
• 5% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure • 20% of ticket value 30-59 days prior to departure • 100% of ticket value between less than 30 days prior to departure
THE INDIAN MAHARAJA- DECCAN ODYSSEY
Deposit Policy:
A $1000 per person non-refundable and non-adjustable deposit is required immediately at the time of booking
Balance payment: 70 days before departure
Cancellation Policy:
• 30% of ticket value 59-45 days prior to departure • 50% of ticket value 44-30 days prior to departure • 100% of ticket value less than 29 days prior to departure
MAHARAJA EXPRESS
Deposit Policy:
You have a choice of making the entire payment in one go or pay a booking amount of 25% of the tour cost at least 90 days or more prior to the departure date and the balance latest by 60 days prior to the departure of the tour. If a booking is made 59 days or less prior to the departure of the tour, then the full 100% payment has to be made.
Cancellation Policy:
• 25% of ticket value 90 days prior to departure • 50% of ticket value 89-60 days prior to departure • 100% of ticket value less than 59 days prior to departure • No show no refunds
THE GOLDEN CHARIOT
Deposit Policy:
• 20% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking • Remaining 80% of ticket value 40 days prior to departure
Cancellation Policy:
• 5% of the ticket value if cancellation is made until 60 days prior to departure • 20% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 30-59 days prior to departure • 50% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 15-29 days prior to departure • 100% of the ticket value if the cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure
