TESTIMONIALS

OUTSTANDING FROM START TO FINISH
Took this cruisetour in June 2013. At the end we were asked what was the most memorable thing we did or remember on this trip. I could not think of just one thing; the whole trip from start to finish was outstanding. The one person who will be unforgettable is our tour escort, who handled everything in a very professional way. From the time we arrived in Beijing until we flew out of Hong Kong, Viking took care of luggage and plane transfers (six flights in China). Hotels were all 5 star. This was our first trip with Viking River Cruises and it will not be our last. Next year we are planning to do the Cities of Light itinerary.

TIBET WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP We just returned yesterday from the Roof of the World cruisetour and I can’t speak highly enough of it. This was our first river cruise and we were not disappointed. Our tour escort was superb in every way from the first day to the end, very knowledgeable, patient and conscientious. Tibet was the highlight of the trip and our local guide there was just great! Food on board was excellent and it was nice to have the wine and soft drinks included with noon and evening meals. All the servers, stateroom attendants and others on the ship were great. The lecturer was so good and provided great humor along with the information. Side trips were well chosen and interesting, especially the Lesser Three Gorges. Hotels truly were 5-star luxury, well chosen! We came home exhausted but felt that the trip was well worth every penny we spent. We would definitely choose Viking again for future river cruises.

BEST TOUR EXPERIENCE EVER I have traveled extensively and just had the best tour experience ever, thanks to our tour escort. Our tour escort was extremely knowledgeable and consistently considerate, a real “people person!” He added a dimension to my trip that I had not believed possible.

A REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE It was quite a remarkable experience and we felt privileged to witness such a unique part of the world. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, but in particular we want to extend our gratitude to our tour guide. His competence and knowledge added immeasurably to our trip.
