India has always
been a fascination to many. From the days of the Indus Valley Civilizations
and even today, India awakens a curious interest to all travellers.
Various dynasties have ruled India for the 5000 plus years of its
civilization, and whilst all of them left considerable structures
and cultural traits, the Moghuls led by Babur the Great from Andijan
in modern day Uzbekistan, is definitely the best known. Builders
of the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort in Agra, Delhi and Lahore, the world
famous 400 fountain Shalimar Gardens, the Jama Masjid, countless
mausoleums, gardens etc., the trail on the Moghul Route by far is
the best way to see and understand the history of this unique country. |
