Day 1 Arrive Cairo, Egypt
Arrive Cairo, home to the one of the Seven Wonders of the World- The Pyramids. Cairo has stood for more than 1,000 years on the same site on the banks of the Nile, Cairo is the gateway to the Nile delta Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met and transfered to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 Cairo - Tour the Pyramids, Sphinx, and Memphis.
The Pyramids and Sphinx are one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A single pyramid is built of 2,300,000 blocks, each weighing an average of two and one–half tons. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates from (2620 BC). Hewn from natural yellowish limestone and standing 65 feet high and 187 feet long, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion’s body. Memphis served as the capital of Upper & Lower Egypt some 5,000 years ago during the 1st Dynasty. Menes, the first pharaoh of this dynasty, built a great white-walled palace & the Temple of Ptah here
Sakkara one of the most exciting historical and archaeological area in all of Egypt is Sakkara, situated about 12 miles South West of Cairo. The site is dominated by the famous step pyramid of King Zoser. It was the first pyramid to be built in ancient Egypt, preceding those at Giza by many centuries, and is the work of the famous pharaonic architect, Imhotep.

Day 3 Cairo - Tour old Cairo, Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and the Khan El Khalili bazaar.
Visit old Cairo today, making our first stop at the Salah El-Din Citadel , one of the world's greatest monuments to medieval warfare. Resembling a typical early medieval fortress, with large imposing gateways, towers and high defending walls, the Citadel is one of Cairo's main attractions and probably the most popular non-pharaonic monument in the Egyptian capital. The prominent fortress houses three mosques - of which the impressive Mohamed Ali Mosque - a carriage museum, a military museum, and a garden museum.
Continue with a visit to the The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which contains many important pieces of ancient Egyptian history. It houses the world's largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities.
Last stop today is the Khan El Khalili, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East, now in the heart of Islamic Cairo, this colorful open-air bazaar is full of exotic colorful lanes where local shops sell perfumes, spices, jewelry, antiques and souvenirs.
Day 4 Cairo - Full day excursion to Alexandria
Day excursion to Alexandria with lunch at a Local Restaurant. Alexandria has a very impressive past, It was founded by Alexander the Great around 331 B.C. Alexandria is a port city and the second largest city in Egypt. During the Hellenistic period, it was home to both the legendary Great Library of Alexandria and the Pharos, a lighthouse ranking among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Alexandria was the setting for the stormy love story between Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, and Marc Antony as well as a cosmopolitan gathering spot for intellectuals in the early twentieth century.
Day 5 Cairo - Aswan - board the Nile Goddess Cruise
