Day 01 ARRIVE DELHI- Evening arrive into the capital city of India, Delhi.
Upon arrival and after clearing immigration and customs you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Delhi is the capital of India. Its history goes back to 3000 years. Eight successive cities were built by various rulers in and around present day Delhi. Few capitals in the world have as many monuments of which Delhi is justly proud.

Day 02 DELHI (B) Morning tour of Old Delhi. We will drive past the Red Fort, a symbol of Mughal power. Enjoy a ‘rickshaw’ (pedi- cab) ride around Chandni Chowk (old shopping street) visiting the Jama mosque. On return, visit Raj Ghat, a memorial of the great Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon Tour of New Delhi; Designed in 1911 by the British, New Delhi is one of the greenest capitals in the world. Your tour includes visit to the impressive Qutab Minar, a 237-foot sandstone tower, an impressive monument built in 1193. Later, visit Humayun's Tomb, a predecessor to the famous Taj Mahal. Later, drive past the government buildings and presidential palace along the broad and majestic Rajpath and Diplomatic enclave.

Day 03 DELHI/AGRA- (B) Morning we will drive you to Agra (3 hours)- Express way. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The Taj Mahal, simply, is beauty - not just in design and technique, but in desire and intent. It was built as a Monument to love, a manifestation of life's most Powerful emotion. When his wife died unexpectedly, Emperor Shahjahan vowed to honor her with a memorial of unmatched beauty. He commissioned the world's best craftsmen and 20,000 workers to build this beautiful structure. The result stands before you today - a delicately carved, white marble jewel which seems to float on a sea of red limestone. Afternoon we will visit the Agra fort, the massive red sandstone Mughal Fort built in 16th century

Later visit a private collection of marble inlay work as used in Taj Mahal. And visit private collection of gems/jewelry and embroidery/tapestries in Agra (as mentioned in National Geographic magazine, *KOHINOOR) Optional: Re-visit the Taj Mahal on your own at Sunset. We will provide round trip transportation to the Taj Mahal but please pay entrance fee directly approx. $15.00 per person.

Day 04 AGRA - RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK - Morning drive to Ranthambore National Park visiting en route Fatehpur Sikri the once fabled Mughal capital, which has taken on a sleeping beauty quality, lying quietly but wonderfully, preserved. Ranthambore is famous for its tigers and is a favorite with photographers. For a relatively small area, the park has a rich diversity of fauna and flora.

Day 05 RANTHAMBORE- Morning and afternoon nature drives into the Park by park vehicles.

Day 06 RANTHAMBORE/JAIPUR- Morning drive to Jaipur. The rose-pink capital of Rajasthan is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills. The rose-pink capital of Rajasthan, is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills, the city was founded in 1727 by the astronomer-king, Sawai Jai Singh II and built according to the Shilpa Shastra, the ancient Hindu treatise on architecture and sculpture. It is a walled city with seven rectangular blocks. The Maharajah's palace stands in the center of the city amidst lovely gardens. Jaipur is aptly called the ‘the pink city’ of India.

Day 07JAIPUR- (B) This morning we travel just north of Jaipur to visit Amber and its famous palace. Riding on elegantly caparisoned elephants, we approach the palace in the traditional way. Inside, we will find lavish courtyards, beautifully decorated halls and the Chamber of Mirrors. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur city, visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory, which is equipped with instruments of astonishing size and precision. We will also see the ornate and elaborate Palace of Winds, the Hawa Mahal, a famous landmark of Jaipur and the City Palace.

Later explore the exotic and vibrant ‘bazaars’ of Jaipur to sample the artistic wealth of this region.

Day 08 JAIPUR/UDAIPUR- (B) Morning drive to Udaipur via Chittorgarh (5-6 hours). The Chittorgarh Fort is a living testimony to the bravery of the great Rajput rulers who laid down their life fighting a superior enemy instead of leading a life of submission. Continue drive to Udaipur. In Udaipur the visitor finds his dream of India come true, for the city combines real beauty with picturesque associations of a great and glorious past. It stands in a valley, amid green hills on the banks of the wide, steel blue Lake Pichola. On little islands in the lake, from the water's edge, rise marble palaces of pure white that glisten like fairy castles. Crowning the ridge, in which the city clusters, along the shores of the lake is the palace of the Maharana. Within the palace is all the magnificence of the East - peacocks in mosaic on the walls, floors inlaid with tiles of rare beauty, and roof gardens affording thrilling views of the panorama below.

Day 09 UDAIPUR- Day excursion to the Jain temple at Ranakpur. This 15th century Jain temple is built in white marble with exquisitely intricate carvings and is unique in its architectural elegance. Meet the head priest of the temple and attend an exclusive prayer ceremony. Sunset boat cruise on Lake Pichola and visit the Jag Mandir Palace. This palace is built on an island, which covers 4 acres and is noted for its marble interior and imposing dome. You will get a chance to witness the daily life on the banks of the lake.

Day 10 UDAIPUR-MUMBAI-Morning tour of Udaipur includes a visit to the vast and exquisite City Palace of the Maharana. Amber, Jade, and colored glass gives the palace a sparkling, yet ethereal quality. Also visit Jagdish Temple, a 16th century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. We will drive past Fateh Sagar Lake with a visit to Sahelion-ki-Bari, garden of the maids-of-Honor. Visit the Crystal Gallery in the Durbar Hall. The hall offers breathtaking views of the Lake Pichola with Jagmandir, Lake Palace and Sajjangarh Fort (Monsoon Palace) beyond. Afternoon fly to Mumbai A beautiful harbor studded with hilly islands and a palm- fringed shore rising gradually to the peaks of mountain ranges forms a fine waterfront for Bombay.

Day 11 MUMBAI - Morning cruise/tour to Elephanta Caves. (Seat on a motor-launch) The island of Elephanta is about 5 miles north-east of the jetty overlooking the Gateway of India and is known for its four rock- cut Hindu temples which were cut between 5th-8th century. Later tour of Mumbai city visiting the Gateway of India, a 85 feet high gateway overlooking the sea, built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. We will drive past the Hanging gardens, Victoria Railway Station and Crawford Market to the Flora Fountain, a center of all business activities. Visit the not to be missed dhobi ghats’ (public laundry).

Evening transfer to the international airport for your Homebound flight.
